Growing up I didn't realize art was so vital to who I was and to who I am. It wasn't until my Mother passed away that I really tapped into different mediums as a healthy outlet and way of coping with losing her. I reached a point where I really felt the need to create something for her as a way of coping with the void I was feeling.
I decided to make an art show in memory of her and dedicated to her.
She not only inspired me and was such a beautiful person to so many people, she made me feel as though anything was possible, as long as I set my mind to it… and she was right, of course! Anything is possible, all you have to do is work hard and make it happen.
So I did it! I had my very first exhibit in memory of her and that’s when I realized that producing art was it for me. That was my stepping into the art realm of the world and taking on projects and working with people with whom I respect and have gained so much knowledge and experience from.
So whether it's Graphic Design, Event Production, photography or projects for a new client, an existing client, friends or family, I put my heart into what I do and I feel that makes all the difference! I love the act of creating and being able to make something out of "nothing."
There is so much that goes into making projects come to life, those "aha" moments and milestone memories when clients, family, friends, and strangers come up to me and are happy and enthused about what I have produced. Those moments really are the cherry on top. I love to help create and produce art in various forms, it is such a rewarding experience!
